City of Northfield Redistricting Open House

The City of Northfield is hosting a public open house to gather input on redistricting scenarios related to the City of Northfield wards on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, 801 Washington St.

Redistricting is the process of redrawing the boundaries of election districts after the completion of the decennial Census to equalize representation. Following the census, the city must either confirm or redefine the ward boundaries. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input.

Additional information can be found on the city’s website or by contacting City Clerk Deb Little at 507-645-3001 or via e-mail at deb.little@ci.northfield.mn.us.
