Northfielder Injured in Rollover

Alonzo Freeman, 21, sustained minor injuries in the rollover accident.

A Northfield man sustained minor injuries early Thursday morning when the driver of the car he was in swerved to avoid a deer and the car went in to the ditch, rolling over, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Alonzo Freeman, 21, and the driver, Courtney Ozmun, 18 of Morristown, who also sustained minor injuries, were transported to District One Hospital in Faribault. The accident happened just after midnight Wednesday a few miles east of Kenyon. 

No alcohol was detected and both were wearing their seat belts, the MSP reported.
