Northfield Woman Injured in Rollover

No one else was involved in the wreck.

A Northfield woman was airlifted Tuesday after she rolled her vehicle.

Sheriff Troy Dunn said Elizabeth Chester, 35, was driving west on Gibson Trail and east of Gates Avenue around 11 a.m. Tuesday. A call at 11:20 a.m. to the Sheriff's Office reported that the vehicle had run off the road and rolled on the driver's side and stopped when it hit trees.

Chester was not wearing her seat belt, Dunn said. No one else was in the vehicle.

Chester suffered neck and back injuries and was flown from the scene by helicopter.

The investigation of the crash is ongoing.

That supposed sculpture was an eyesore and I for one am glad to see it gone.
