Northfield Police Blotter: Death Investigation, Fight, Runaway

Dec. 13

Police were called at 10:49 p.m. to the 400 block of Union Street South for a noise violation.

Police were called at 9:44 p.m. to the 700 block of Koester Court for vandalism.

Police were called at 7:48 p.m. to the 200 block of Washington Street South for theft.

Police were called at 10:16 a.m. to the 300 block of Woodley Street West for fraud.

Dec. 12

Police were called at 4:44 p.m. to the 1000 block of Freedom Court for a death investigation. Northfield Deputy Chief of Police Chuck Walerius said it is believed the person died of natural causes, but the department is waiting for autopsy results before making a final determination.

Police were called at 4:43 p.m. to the 1500 block of Jefferson Road for a hit and run.

Police were called at 3:47 p.m. to the 600 block of Water Street for a fight.

Police were called at 3:34 p.m. to the 1100 block of Peterson Drive for a runaway.

Police were called at 9:11 a.m. to the 700 block of Fifth Street West for a theft from auto.
