Firefighters Responding to Fire at Malt-O-Meal Building

Several Northfield Fire Department trucks responded to a fire on the roof of the MOM Brands (Malt-O-Meal) building on Hwy. 19 shortly before 11 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Traffic is currently blocked off near the intersection of Oddfellows Lane and Hwy. 19 as crews run water across the street. The fire appears to be located on an upper level of the building.
Firefighters are on the third and fourth floor of building, and they're focusing their efforts on the roof, according to a Patch reporter on the scene.
