PHOTOS: Fire Prevention Open House Draws Large Crowd

Hundreds of kids, parents and community members on Thursday made time to check out the Northfield Fire Department's open house at the Northfield Safety Center.

Hundreds of kids, parents and community members on Thursday made time to check out the Northfield Fire Department's open house at the .

Some of the events held at the gathering were fire extinguisher demonstrations, an auto extrication, helicopter landing and an LP burn from the fire department.

Many other agencies were involved, including the Rice County's Sheriff Office, Northfield EMS, Northfield Police and even Flight Nurses from North Memorial.
