FBI Releases Suspect's Picture from Northfield US Federal Credit Union Robbery

Law enforcement officials are looking for a white man who is about 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190-210 pounds.

FBI agents believe the man who robbed the could be the same person who robbed a bank in Savage on Monday.

The alleged robber, who brandished a gun Thursday when robbing the Northfield credit union branch, is white and about 25 years old, according to FBI Special Agent Steve Warfield. The man is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 190 and 210 pounds. He wore a black-hooded jacket, a dark mask that covered his face from below his nose, blue jeans, dark gloves and black and white sneakers, the agent said.

Law enforcement officials say the man entered the Northfield branch at about 3 p.m. and showed a small black handgun, demanding the teller to give him all of her 100 and 50 dollar bills. After receiving the money, he demanded more cash, the FBI said in a statement.

The man was last seen exiting the bank and walking east through an apartment complex parking lot.

Two other bank employees were in the branch at the time of the robbery; no one was injured.
