They arrived at the hotel around 11:30 p.m. Between 2 and 3 a.m., the alleged victim went to sleep in the same bed as Matejcek. A few hours later, the girl told Northfield Police she woke up with Matejcek on top of her and trying to pull her pants down. She told him "no" and to stop, the complaint says.

The complaint says Matejcek had sex with the girl for 10 minutes. She told him she was pregnant and he was hurting her. He finally stopped and the girl went to the bathroom and called her cousin to pick her up.

The girl said Matejcek later texted and called her, saying "it didn't happen."

The girl, with Northfield Police with her, called Matejcek, who said he didn't believe it could have happened and he had never done anything like that.

Police later found Matejcek in Faribault.

He told officers he had been in the hotel room with the girl and drinking alcohol but could recall the night clearly. He admitted he and the alleged victim were in the same bed and had sexual intercourse. He said it was consensual. He said after five or six minutes the girl asked him to stop. He said she asked one or two more times for him to stop before he did.

In 2007, Matejcek was convicted of burglary and underage drinking and driving.
