Wolf Killing a "Howling Success"????

I ask your urgent support for the creation of publicity to oppose the Minnesota DNR in their effort to appear cuddly and supportive of native animals.  They are in a battle with a local bear researcher [Lynn Rogers] and are creating a large amount of publicity about how this researcher allegedly abuses bears by feeding them to place research collars.

This is all a HUGE diversion to keep people from thinking about all of the wolves wantonly killed by hunters and trappers in Minnesota last winter and promoted by the MN DNR.

The DNR brags about the wolf kill of over 400 animals to be a “Howling Success” and uses a U of M professor as their propaganda microphone: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/volunteer/mayjun12/wolves.html

But, are wolves a danger to farmers and ranchers?  From the above article, one can see that they have means of protecting their businesses:

“State law gives [farmers] more options to protect cattle. Under Minnesota law, livestock and pet owners may legally kill wolves that pose a threat to their animals. And, just as the U.S. Department of Agriculture did under federal management, the state will train and pay certified trappers to kill problem wolves on his farm.”

So, what is the problem?  Farmers can deal with any wolf problem freely.  But the MN DNR is wantonly killing wolves and trying to appear all cuddly to citizens by installing their anti-bear research campaign.

I thought you should know about this.  Thanks for any help you can give to the Minnesota wolves.  Now we locals need to speak out against the Minnesota DNR that is NOT in the business of protecting our natural resources, but in killing them while they try to appear all warm and cuddly.
