Tell Us: What Are You Thankful For This Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is here!

I want to know what the users of Northfield Patch are thankful for this year.

I'll start:

• I'm thankful, that after two years, I'm still privileged to be the editor of Northfield Patch and help keep the community informed.
• I'm thankful that my daughter, Lucy, turns 10 months old on Saturday. It's been a great challenge so far and I feel blessed to have her in my life.
• I'm thankful for my wife, Ariel. She's a tremendous mother and wonderful wife. I'm thankful for her patience and understanding when I leave the house at 5 a.m. to chase down an armed robbery story, stay up until 3 a.m. for elections or randomly disappear because there's a fire or car wreck. Those are just a few obvious examples. I'll never fully know the daily demands of being married to me, but I feel incredibly fortunate to have a wife who's up to the challenge.
