Gymnasts Hit Season High, DuPay Ties All-Around Record!

The Northfield Gymnasts are on a roll! They started out with a great score on their first meet and the scores haven't stopped climbing from there! Their last meet, a dual against New Prague, left them with a season high of 149.025 and the highest score posted in the state thus far.

Bailey DuPay also tied the school All-Around record of 38.675 set by Tasha Pasch, who is still currently involved in the Northfield Gymnastics Club. This year's varsity team not only shows strong potential as a team but also has several all-around gymnasts with consistent competitive scores. Christy Anderson placed 2nd with a 37.425, Alexis Keifer placed 3rd with a 36.975 and Abby Stets placed 4th in the All-around with a 35.95.

Don't miss seeing these girls in action TODAY at the Northfield Gymnastics Club as they host the Blizzard Invite starting at 11 a.m. Also, mark your calendars for the meet of the season Feb. 15th as the Northfield gymnasts host the section 1A championships at the Northfield High School gymnasium. 

The girls have worked hard to perfect their skills as well as add new difficulty. The rest of the season is sure to be exciting.
