Just ONCE Guitar Classes for Busy People

Northfield Community Services division brings in Charles Wilson to teach his very popular class, Just ONCE Guitar for Busy People in March.

If you have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, but are never able to fine the time for lessons you will want to mark down March 26th, 6:30-9:00 p.m. on your calendar. That's when Northfield Community Education brings in Charles Wilson to teach his very popular class, Just ONCE Guitar for Busy People.

This ONE-TIME, 2 ½ hour class will teach you the basics about playing chords on the guitar so that you can start having fun right away playing your favorite songs.  We asked Wilson how the idea for this class originated and found out that a very similar class for learning the piano has been taught nationally for 30 years.  "Over 250,000 students have attended the "Instant Piano" class with great results the same principles apply to the guitar.

Many young people want to learn the guitar but the time and money involved in taking private lessons keeps them away.  With this class I am able to give them enough information and tools that they can go home right away and teach themselves what they want to learn."

Many students just want to learn how to play simple tunes and they can start doing this right away.  Others want to go further and I am then able to point them towards the right materials to help them go down this road.  In the class we also discuss some of the commons mistakes people make and the hurdles that prevent them from learning the guitar.  If I can help students avoid these hurdles then they are much more likely to succeed.

You don't need to know anything at all about music or the guitar to attend the class.  This is designed for the absolute beginner.  No one will be put "on the spot" or embarrassed.  If you have the desire and the motivation to practice you can learn this instrument.  The emphasis here is on learning for your own enjoyment and having fun.
