Candidate Forum on the Arts and Culture of Northfield- Thursday October 4th
I am on the Board of the Friends and Foundation of the Northfield Public Library- and we are co-sponsoring an event on Thursday. Check it out:
You are cordially invited to attend a local candidates' forum on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 7-8:45 PM in the Weitz Center, room 236 (the former Middle School media center on the second floor).
Candidates for Northfield City Council mayor, at-large, second ward and third ward will be there. The focus for the first 45 minutes will be on the City's support of the arts, culture and history of Northfield, with questions such as "Discuss your understanding of the arts/culture/history as economic engines in town."

The second half of the forum is open for your questions to any or all of the candidates, arts related or otherwise. This is your opportunity to question and compare the candidates in the first public forum of the general election season.
Co-sponsors of the forum are Carleton and St. Olaf Colleges, Friends of the Northfield Public Library, Northfield Arts Guild, Northfield Arts and Culture Commission and the Northfield Historical Society.
