Here's clue No. 3:

After spending the night just North of the falk line
They needed moore help making it over the bridge climb
So they rode the rails south to that restful old Milltown.
Where they could park their rides and build a fire near downtown

Here's clue No. 2:

The gang became thirsty for a sweet blessed drink
Another generic reference to filling a sink
If they would have gone North and hitched to a certain tree
They could map the escape route then Jesse would flee

Here's clue No. 1:

The fleeing gang was roughed up and beat
While running in the dark of night they had to fish and eat
The brigands complained...we need them lechers to bait the jig!
Then they ate, played ball, slide and tag
