A Big Day Dawns

Tomorrow is a big day for Northfield; it is Primary Election Day.

In the past several weeks since candidate filing closed, we’ve all heard a lot from the candidates, , that are running for the various open city offices. For the race that is closest to my heart, City Council at-large, my competitors and I have shared our thoughts through the various media and forums, on what we think is going well and where we each feel there is a need for improvement.

In comparison to either of my opponents, I believe I offer the most balanced view of what is needed to move Northfield forward. It’s balanced between where we are as a city today and where we want to be. We need to be willing to explore opportunities for growth while maintaining what we have. It is not an “either – or” proposition.

I could go on, but that’s not the point of this post. The point of this post is to remind you that tomorrow you, the residents of Northfield, have a choice to make. It is a choice of whose ideas, as expressed so far, sound good to you. Who do you want to hear more from between now and November? I believe I am that candidate and I am asking for your vote.
