A Career Skills Educational Event will be held on Thursday, November 1st from 4 8 pm at First Congregational Church, 220 West Main Street, Cannon Falls. Area experts, Local Companies, Recruiting Firms, & Colleges and Technical Schools will be on hand to help you:
- Build an effective resume (bring yours with you)
- Find more job openings
- Network successfully
- Dress for success
- Obtain more second interviews & job offers
- Identify job training opportunities
- Think through the process of starting small
business - Cope with job loss.
This is not a job fair, but it is a great opportunity to network and to enhance job search skills. Most jobs today are not found by sitting in front of a computer or following help wanted ads. They are found through the connections people make with one another. Come, help those connections happen! And, increase the likelihood that you are the successful applicant the next time around.
