When Does School Close for Thanksgiving in Northfield?
Northfield Public Schools, as well as St. Olaf and Carleton colleges will take a break later this month.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and that means Northfield area schools and universities will also take a holiday break:
Northfield Public Schools
A teacher workshop day will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, which means no school. Thanksgiving break lasts from Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29. Students will return to school Monday, Dec. 2.
St. Olaf College
No school from Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Dec. 1. Students will return to school on Monday, Dec. 2.
Carleton College
Carleton will let out for more than a month for its winter break beginning just a couple days before Thanksgiving on Tuesday, Nov. 26. The break will last through Jan. 5, 2014, with students returning Monday, Jan. 6.
