Northfield Hospital EMS Explorer Post 3300 Pancake Breakfast

The Northfield Hospital EMS Explorer Post 3300 is an enriching opportunity for young adults ages 14-21 to experience what the Emergency Medical System is all about. Post 3300 was started on January 18th, 2011 and within its year of operation; the post has been CPR certified, First Responder certified, and are representatives for Minnesota Heart Restart- Hands Only CPR. Currently at a membership of 22 Explorers, the Post has helped Northfield Fire/ Rescue, Northfield Police Dept, St. Olaf College, Northfield YMCA, and many other Northfield Community organizations. Some specific events the post has been asked to participate in would include- Dundas Gas and Steam Engine Show, Defeat of Jesse James Days, EMS appreciation week, Northfield Fire Open house, YMCA Healthy Kids Day, and many sports events with Northfield High School. EMS Explorer Post 3300 is currently working on fundraisers so professional uniforms, new training equipment, and tools used while providing medical standby can be purchased. An upcoming fundraiser on January 22, 2012 is a pancake breakfast at the Northfield VFW. Members are working hard to contact different local and semi local businesses for help with this event.

The post would very much appreciate your presence at this event and would love to see the wonderful Northfield community comming togeather.
