Volunteer Advocate Training

HOPE Center of Rice County offers interesting and

challenging volunteer opportunities preventing sexual and domestic violence,
and helping survivors. Opportunities include: covering the crisis line, working
for systems change, fund-raising, reaching out to under-served populations, and
more. Volunteers are only limited by their imagination, the HOPE Center’s
philosophy and the scope of its services.

We are offering a FREE 40-hour training program that will be

held mostly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting October 1, 2013. The
training is packed with information, and will give participants a chance to

meet leaders in our community such as Rice County Attorney Paul Beaumaster and
Captain Neal Pederson from the Faribault Police Department.

Applications must be received by September 20, 2013.  Anyone interested may contact Nikki at HOPE Center at
507-332-0882 or hopevolunteer@gmail.com.
