Jessica Peterson White Sails to a Win in Ward 4 Special Election

With precincts reporting at 100 percent, it appears the interim city council person, Jessica Peterson White, will remain on the board in Northfield.

Preliminary results show Jessica Peterson White, the former Rice County Commissioner and current interim city councilwoman here in Northfield, has cruised to victory in this special election for Northfield City Council. 

According to the City of Northfield's website, Peterson White picked up nearly 75 percent of the 547 votes cast in this year's special election. Rick Esse came in second, and Scott Oney in third. 

Peterson White was appointed to the city council last fall fill the seat vacated by Patrick Ganey until a special election could be held this year.
