Welcome to March.

From the National Weather Service:

Snow will spread northward across southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin tonight as a low pressure system approaches from the southern plains. The snow will persist through much of Wednesday as the low pressure system passes across northern Illinois. This weather system will bring from 3 to as much as 6 inches of snow accumulation from south central Minnesota through west central Wisconsin by Wednesday afternoon. The area most likely to experience snow accumulations near 6 inches stretches from Albert Lea to Eau Claire. In addition to the snow...northerly winds on Wednesday between 15 and 30 mph could create some blowing and drifting snow, especially in southern Minnesota.
