Why Go: The night includes a potluck supper, a Lucia processional and pageant, live fiddle music, the singing of Swedish carols, and folk dancing.

When/Where: Check-in is at 8 a.m., event starts at 9 a.m. Saturday,

Why Go: The tradition of the Northfield Jingle Bell Run is that each year 100 percent of race registration fees goes to a local non-profit organization. In honor of the 10th Anniversary of the event, a total of $10,000 will go to 10 worthy charities selected by 10 local groups. The exciting results will be announced on the day of the race.

Pricing: Pre-Registration: $15, $8 children 10 and under, $50 family maximum; Race Day Registration: $20, $10 children 10 and under, $50 family maximum

When/Where: 8:30 a.m. Saturday;

Why Go: Ho! Ho! Ho! Come join in the holiday fun at the third annual breakfast with Santa on Saturday! Kids can visit with Santa and Rudolph's best friend Hermey (be sure to bring your cameras!), make holiday ornaments and crafts, play reindeer games, write and mail letters to Santa, get their face painted and listen to wonderful holiday music performed by local children. For breakfast you'll enjoy buttermilk pancakes (plain or topped with wild blueberries or mini-chocolate chips), sausage, fresh fruit, a sweet surprise, orange juice and coffee.

Pricing: $6 for adults, $3 for kids ages 4-12 and children under 3 eat free

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Kildahl Park Pointe, 888 Cannon Valley Dr.

Why Go: Come and enjoy conversation and treats, tour several of our lovely homes, view the art that graces our hallways and appreciate a magnificent Dickens' Christmas Village.
