Michelle Polzin of Northfield Joins Vikings Cheerleading Squad
The 24-year-old is one of 11 women joining the squad this year.
Northfield resident Michelle Polzin has been named to the 2013 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleading team, the Vikings announced Wednesday.
Polzin, 24, a Northfield High School graduate is one of 11 new members on 35-woman squad.
Polzin was joined by fellow Northfielder Ting Ting Yang in an intensive 10-month training program.

“It’s a select only group. We have a lot of women interested,” Beth Hauffman, a training program staffer, told the Northfield News in 2012. “We’re very specific about the ladies we ask to join.”
