It doesn't quite feel like spring sports season.

After it started snowing early Tuesday afternoon, the Northfield School District canceled all school-related events, according to Northfield Activities Director Tom Graupmann.

The National Weather Service reports that between 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected to fall, though there's a chance the precipitation could stay a wintry mix instead of snow and not accumulate.

As the temperature dips to about 30 degrees around 9 p.m., there's a better chance the precipitation becomes snow.

Snow is in the forecast for Wednesday, though it's likely to be over by 1 p.m.; less than 1 inch of accumulation is expected, according to the NWS.
