UPDATED: 4.5 Inches of Snow Falls in Northfield

The National Weather Service predicted 3-6 inches of snow for Northfield. We got 4.5 inches.

A trained spotter with the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network reports that 4.5 inches of snow fell in Northfield during the recent snowstorm.

The National Weather Service is predicting that between 3 and 6 inches of snow could fall Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning.

Snow is most likely after 3 p.m. As the evening comes on, the NWS says there's 100 percent chance of snow that will carry into the early hours of Sunday.

A winter storm watch is in effect on Saturday, which mean sthere is a potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may effect travel.

The next chance of snow is Thursday.
