3 Inches of Snow Possible in Northfield, Twin Cities

The National Weather Service reports that up to 3 inches of snow could fall throughout much of Minnesota on Monday night, including Northfield.

There's a 20 percent chance that the precipitation starts in the late afternoon as a rain/snow mix with it becoming only snow around 9 p.m. as the temperature drops. There's a 100 percent chance of snow tonight, the NWS reports.

There's a 20 percent chance of snow on Tuesday before noon. The high for Tuesday is 38 degrees.

There's a chance of snow and rain on Wednesday, with a 40 percent chance of snow Wednesday night. There's also chances of snow on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to the NWS.
