Readers' Choice: What's the Best Garden Center in Northfield?

Vote on the best place in Northfield to keep spring in bloom during gardening season.

Spring has sprung, and even the greenest thumb can't start a garden without the plants and accessories sold at local garden centers. The Northfield area has several options.

But which garden center is the best?

Tell us by voting for one of the centers in the poll below. If you don't see your favorite local option, post a comment and ask us to add it.

Do you own one of these businesses? If so, consider  your directory listing on Patch.

Voting ends at 9 p.m. on April 26. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments explaining your selection and reviews in our directory for the respective businesses. For official rules, see the attached PDF. We’ll announce the winner at noon on April 27.

Check our directory (you'll find it on the menu bar atop this page) and rate your favorite garden center, since ratings count toward determining the winner. And after you vote, sign up for our newsletter to be notified about who wins.

I find that Knect's is the best place to shop for plants, shrubs, and trees in town. I have gardended for quite some time, but still rely on their knowledable staff to fill in the blanks for me. My garden is now a new one since moving in the summer of 2010 and they have been so very helpful with ideas, advice and service. Thank you all at Knecht's! Barbara Cleare

Knecht's by far! Very knowledgeable staff and an excellent selection especially in trees and shrubs. I'd drive a long way to shop there--as a matter of fact I do! We shop often from Miesville.

Knecht's. Last year when I was getting flowers (red petunias) for a garden, I needed 4 flats worth. Knecht's only had 2 left, so I picked up 2 more at eco gardens. The plants from eco garden paled in comparison, and never really took off like the ones from Knecht's always do. Everything in our yard is from Knecht's, won't go anywhere else!
