Pan Pan Café Burglarized in Downtown Northfield

Police say someone broke into the restaurant during the weekend and stole about $500.

Northfield Police believe a former employee of Pan Pan Café may have robbed the downtown restaurant over the weekend.

Deputy Chief of Police Chuck Walerius said someone broke into the Division Street eatery either late Friday or early Saturday and took about $500 from a locked cabinet.

“It appears someone may have known that this is a spot where money is kept,” he said.
