Northfield CHAP Store to Shutter Doors
The store is holding a closing sale on Friday and Saturday with everything discounted 60 percent.
The Northfield CHAP Store location will be closing its doors for good following a closing sale this weekend.
The CHAP Store is a community outreach ministry of Victory Fellowship Church in Burnsville, according to its website. CHAP stands for Caring, Helping and Providing.
The store sold new and gently used goods that had been donated, had an emergency food shelf and also distributed fresh food items three to four days a week. According to a Northfield Chamber of Commerce email, donations are no longer being accepted.
A closing sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17 and Saturday, Jan. 18 with all items discounted by 60 percent. The Northfield CHAP Store is located at 203 W. 3rd St.
