Four Corners Partnership to Host Free Workshop for Landlords

The event is free and open to the public, but property managers and owners of multi-unity buildings are encouraged to attend, according to a release.

The Four Corners Partnership will host a free workshop for area landlords at noon Nov. 14 at the Northfield Senior Center, 1651 Jefferson Pkwy.

According to a release from Rice County, the workshop will include presentations by the Director of the Live Smoke Free program and an attorney from the Public Health Law Center at William Mitchell College of Law:

“Our guest presenters have many years of experience working with property managers and owners across Minnesota to successfully implement smoke-free policies for apartments, townhomes and other properties.  The Live Smoke Free program has gained national recognition in recent years,” said Andrea Kronbach, Health Educator at Rice County Public Health Nursing Service.  “This will be a great opportunity for area landlords to learn about the benefits of smoke-free policies and get their questions answered by the experts.”

The workshop is free and open to the public, but property managers and owners of multi-unit buildings are especially encouraged to attend, the release said. Lunch will be provided, and registration is required.

To register, contact Andrea Kronbach at Rice County Public Health Nursing Service 507-332-5921.
