Dundas Kmart, Sears Not on Initial Closing List
Four Minnesota Kmarts are slated to close, but the Dundas location is not on the partial list of stores released Thursday.
The Dundas and have avoided the chopping block, according to a partial list released Thursday detailing closings by the parent company of both stores.
Between 100 and 120 Sears and Kmart after poor sales during the holiday season, a time in which most businesses make up the gap toward profitability.
The partial list includes 79 locations with four Minnesota Kmarts listed, which are in Duluth, New Hope, White Bear Lake and Willmar.
