UPDATED: Carbone's Pizzeria in Northfield Not a Done Deal
A Carbone's spokesperson said a deal is still being negotiated for space in the River Park Mall.

Northfield, get ready for another pizza option—maybe.
Carbone's Pizzeria is coming to the River Park Mall in the space, lease holder Norman Butler told Patch on Sunday.

But a spokesperson at Carbone's, which franchises out the restaurants, said the deal is still being negotiated and there was nothing to report.
"Until it’s confirmed, it’s still up in the air," he said.

Butler said he believes the restaurant is scheduled to open in July. Other details of the deal weren't immediately available.
The Water Street space most recently housed 620 Grill, which closed in December, and .
Carbone's would join a long list of pizza options in Northfield, including , which opened last October. Carbone's also offers other items like burgers, pasta and hoagies.
There are 26 Carbone's in Minnesota; the closest is in Lakeville.
