Northfield Gets Noticed

I've been blogging over on my own blog for a few years about City Council news, local issues, public policy, and (recently) bicycles - Corey Butler convinced me (finally - sorry it took so long, Corey) to expand my blogging horizons here on Patch. 

For a first Patch blog, I'll just share the nice surprise I found in my Facebook newsfeed this morning - Strong Towns posted a link to their blog post about a recent conference on Back to Basics (of building strong, engaged communities) in Pine River, MN with this comment:  "Video from the Back to Basics Q&A, including Chuck Marohn expressing his affection for Northfield." Watch this video and hear Chuck tell everyone what a great place we have here. 

It's always great to hear what others think about Northfield - especially thoughtful people who think about community development, land use, and keeping towns strong for a living.
