Jesse, the Original Musical Melodrama, Returns to DJJD

The 3-year-old Lockwood Theater Company presents the show Thursday through Sunday, with tickets available at the door, online and at Anna's Closet.

The 3-year-old Lockwood Theater Company presents the show Thursday through Sunday, with tickets available at the door, online and at . Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children younger than 12.

The show is a melodrama with good guys, bad guys, sweethearts, dastardly dames, and lots of singing and dancing.

Written by Bob and Marion Moulton, with lyrics by Vern Sutton to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the James gang's defeat, the show is a family-friendly, though not 100-percent accurate, presentation of local history.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday; 4 p.m. Saturday; noon Sunday.
