The Northfield Arts Guild presents 13!

The Northfield Arts Guild Theater is presenting a musical titled 13 by Jason Robert Brown, Dan Elish, and Robert Horn in July of 2011. The only all-teenage show ever to hit Broadway, 13 is a grown-up story about growing up! This hilarious, high-energy musical is about discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometimes where you least expect it. 

This energetic show will delight Northfield Audiences at the Arts Guild Theater at 411 West 3rd on July 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30pm and July 17 and 24 at 2:00pm.  This production is directed by Rachel Haider with music direction by Alisa Leonard and choreography by Jana Schomburg-Hirsch.  The cast features the talents of Amber Barksdale, Claire DesLauriers, Scout Gregerson, Erin Hahn, Deon Haider, Sebastian Lawler, Caleb Leonard, Isaac Leonard, Matt Lockett, Jack Lunderby, Sasha Middledorp, Noah Schomburg, and Ben Wang.

In collaboration with the Northfield Dairy Queen restaurant, the Arts Guild is pleased to announce that your 13 ticket stub can get you a free Dairy Queen treat!  With your ticket stub from the musical 13, you will receive one 12 oz. Blizzard® treat with the purchase of a 12 oz. or larger Blizzard® treat. This offer is good during the month of July at the Northfield DQ only.

This show is truly a wonderful event for youth and adults alike!  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.northfieldartsguild.org, on the phone at 507-645-8877, or in person at the Center for the Arts at 304 Division St S.  While 13 is a wonderful youth musical, please know that the story deals with some adolescent language and themes in a light-hearted manner.
