Northfield Historical Society Open House and Volunteer Recognition

The Northfield Historical Society invites all area residents to help celebrate the opening of downtown Northfield’s renovated Scriver Building Thursday, July 21, 6-8 p.m. Visitors will be encouraged to tour the premises and ride the elevator. The event will include refreshments and a program at 6:30 p.m. that will honor the society’s volunteers of the year. The renovation makes the landmark Scriver Building and its artifacts and records accessible to people of all mobility's. It also adds exhibit space, which means more opportunities for research and education for thousands of annual visitors. And the second floor soon will include more community meeting space.
