FINAL Carnegie Centennial Event: Concert, Book Release/Signing and Thank YOU!

The Northfield Public Library Board and Staff invite the community to a special centennial concert, book release/signing and thank you event to be held on Saturday, January 29, at 7:00 p.m. at the library.  Steve Kelly and Fang Tango, the Carleton Tango Ensemble, will spice up the evening with their music.  Coffee and cake will be served.

 Everlasting Influences: The Centennial History of the Northfield Carnegie Public Library 1910-2010 by Bruce Colwell will be released that evening and the author will be available to sign the book.  The book was researched, written and published with a Historical and Cultural Heritage Grant made possible by funds from all Minnesota taxpayers through the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment and the Minnesota Historical Society.  The Friends of the Northfield Public Library also supported the project substantially.
