"A Night To Have A Ball"

The Northfield Historical Society (NHS) will host "A Night To Have A Ball" on Saturday, March 19 from 7 to 11 p.m. in the Great Hall on the Carleton College campus. This special event begins with the NHS's annual meeting for its membership from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by a live auction of "Big Prints," featuring twelve rare image panels of historic Northfield downtown scenes. Following the auction, participants can dance the night away to the musical stylings of Christina Schweitz & Sweet Jazz, performing until 11 p.m. The event also features delectable hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.

"Everybody is welcome," notes Hayes Scriven, executive director of the Northfield Historical Society. "Wear your black tie or your jeans—this is a night of fun for everyone, all in support of a fantastic community organization."

This event is sponsored by Carleton College and Community Resource Bank. The Great Hall is located off College Street on the Carleton College campus.
