Collin Raye to Perform Benefit Concert in Fairbault

The concert will benefit Dundas' Epic Enterprise, but also allow a Northfield High School grad to meet his idol, according to Fairbault Daily News.

Award-winning country music star Collin Raye will be performing a benefit concert in Fairbault later this month after one of his biggest fans wrote to him in hopes of meeting him someday.

According to Fairbault Daily News, Northfield High School graduate Blake Peterson, a 21-year-old country music fan with cerebral palsy, wrote to the Raye's publicist with the help of his employment counselor Sandy McClintock at Dundas’ Epic Enterprise.

Because of Peterson’s request, and after lots of back and forth planning, Raye will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Paradise Center for the Arts in Faribault, with all proceeds will benefit Epic Enterprise, the newspaper reported.

Tickets are now on sale and cost $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the Paradise box office between noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, according to the venue's website. Online reservations were not available at the time of this article.
