As the weather turns colder and colder, organizers of the on Thursday announced there will be a winter hunt.
It's called the Winter Walk Holiday Hunt, according to the DJJD Horseshoe Hunt Facebook page. Northfield's annual Winter Walk is Thursday, Dec. 8.

It will be similar to the DJJD hunt, with a hidden ornament on Northfield public property and daily clues given. A prize hasn't been announced yet, but the Facebook page says it will be a "big prize purse."
