PHOTOS: Hundreds Attend Northfield YMCA Healthy Kids Day
The theme for the event, staged Saturday at Bridgewater Elementary School, was "Get a Jump on Summer."
If attendance at Saturday’s Northfield Area Family YMCA Healthy Kids Day at Bridgewater Elementary School is any indication, it’s going to be a happy and fun-filled summer for Northfield youngsters.
Hundreds of residents turned out for the annual Healthy Kids Day event, which featured displays from roughly 40 community organizations.
The event’s theme was “Get a Jump on Summer.”

Youngsters literally got a jump on the season, as they played on inflatable jumpers in Bridgewater’s gymnasium, rode stationary bikes in the cafeteria and climbed through emergency vehicles outside.
