PROACT GOLF CLASSIC TO BENEFIT SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES SET FOR AUGUST 18 IN HASTINGS

A scenic and challenging private golf course, friendly players and gourmet dining are all part of the annual ProAct Golf Classic, to be held August 18 at Hastings Country Club.

The foursome scramble tournament has registration from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with an early lunch starting at 10:45 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11:45 a.m.  There will be skill contests and treats along the way, and a live auction, raffle and hearty dinner will follow the round.

“The course is in great shape, and golfers always enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the camaraderie,” said Steven Ditschler, ProAct president and CEO.  The ProAct Classic is the organizations only fundraising event of the year.
