CHILD WATCH LEAD
This position works 2-4 administrative hours per month. It is preferred that they also work a minimum of one CW shift each week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage support for the Child Watch center:
• Liaison between CW staff and Executive Director (ED)
• Educate & communicate CW procedures
• Notify ED when new staff hires are needed
• Ensure CW schedule is updated, meets budget needs and is professional looking.
• Provide staff orientations and training as needed
• Ensure participation is tracked
Track staff training (CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Other)

Required Qualifications:
• Ability to demonstrate skill and experience working with youth
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications (available upon hire).
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to work with a diverse population
PRESCHOOL LEAD
This position works 3-5 hours of administrative work each month and will be the lead liaison staff between the Executive Director and the instructors working in specified preschool programs. Programs run largely in 5 week sessions and there are 7-8 sessions each year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage support for program areas to ensure each ready for new session.
• Check enrollment prior to each programs start and ensure proper staff ratios
• Ensure Y website webpage for each program is updated, accurate, and has appropriate description
• Recommend marketing strategies – ways to get the word out to parents of preschoolers
• Ensure curriculum is distributed and/or completed
• Ensure coaches and instructors follow curriculum outlines and provide support (as needed) to help set them up for a successful program.
• Make recommendations for program changes to include content and day/time changes
• Recommend additional program offerings
• Ability to demonstrate skill and experience working with preschool age youth.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications (available upon hire).
• Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement program activities.
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to work with a diverse population
