MNsure Assistance Available for All at the Community Action Center

The Community Action Center (CAC) is now offering free appointments to anyone in Northfield who needs help securing MNsure health insurance. Beginning April 1, all Minnesotans are required to have health care coverage in order to avoid financial penalties. The CAC has three staff members and two additional volunteers who are trained MNsure Navigators available to answer questions and guide people through the enrollment process. Navigators will be available on Thursday afternoons by appointment from now until mid-March. Additional appointment times are available on a case-by-case basis.

To schedule an appointment, please call the Community Action Center at 507-664-3550. Additional assistance from MNsure Navigators is available by calling HealthFinders at 507-646-8964.

The Community Action Center operates programs to help individuals and families meet their basic needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter, and provides crisis support, transportation, youth services and programs designed to facilitate neighbors helping neighbors.
