S.M.A.R.T. to Host Holiday 'Shop and Eat' Fundraiser in Northfield
The event is set for Saturday, Dec. 7 at J. Grundy's Rueb 'N' Stein.
For those looking to do a little good while also getting some holiday shopping done, you can do both this Saturday in Northfield.
The Southern Minnesota Animal Rescue Team (S.M.A.R.T.) is hosting the Holiday Shop & Eat Retreat fundraising event from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at J. Grundy's Rueb 'N' Stein in Northfield.
According to the S.M.A.R.T. website, the event is free to attend and features free chair massages, a bake sale, 25 vendors, and a drawing for more than $1,000 in prizes. Drawings start at 3 p.m.
In addition, donations of various pet supplies such as pet food, cat litter, pet shampoo and conditioner, clean and gently used bedding, bleach, paper towels, and laundry soap are being accepted at the door. Each donations carries with it the change to win a gift from Tastefully Simple valued at $75.
J. Grundy's Rueb 'N' Stein is located at 503 Division St. and the event will be held on the restaurant's upper level. For more information on S.M.A.R.T., go to smartrescue.org.
