Nominate Someone for the Northfield Human Rights Award

Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 9, 2013.

The Northfield Human Rights Commission is now accepting nominations for its annual Northfield Human Rights Award.

The honor is presented to a Northfield area individual, group, or organization that has contributed to the advancement of human rights each January during the city's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration.

The commission hopes to find a balanced and diverse slate of nominees that contribute locally to the cause of human rights in a variety of ways. The commission will evaluate all nominees, and is ultimately responsible for choosing the award recipient.

Download a nomination form here, or on the city's website. All submissions should be mailed to:

Northfield Human Rights Commission
801 Washington Street
Northfield, MN 55057

For more information, go to the commission's webpage on the city's website.
