TAI CHI, YANG STYLE

Enjoy the improvement that Tai Chi brings for mental relaxation & the ability to concentrate. Gently condition the body systems- mild cardio-vascular, some respiratory as well as digestive and muscular-skeletal systems. Tai Chi has been shown to improve body awareness and coordination. While beginners are welcome, this class moves along quickly through the 24 forms and you will be joining a group who has practiced Tai Chi for some time now. Wear flexible clothing.

The Northfield Senior Center offers classes, activities and services for residents over the age of 50. Members have access to the senior center lounge, alcove computer, monthly newsletter and information and referrals for senior services. Classes are offered, with topics including visual arts, writing, computers and wellness. The Wellness Center features a warm water pool, a fitness center with cardio and strength-training equipment, and fitness trainers to work with older active adults. A daily meal is served at 11:30am, Monday through Friday.

My 6-year-old is interested in a tai chi class. Any chance a kids' class, or at least one with kid appropriate times, would be available anytime soon?
