It was wicked hot this weekend, so I did not get to visit all the gardens on the Northfield Garden Club's annual garden tour. But the ones I saw displayed a variety of design styles and plant selections.

Seven home gardens and the Northfield Retirement Community gardens welcomed tour goers, all with artists at work in them. Despite the hot weather, gardeners said that turnout for the tour was strong.

Tours are great for finding new ideas for your own gardens. Check out the photos to see some of the highlights.
