Area Pool Events in December

There are opportunities around Northfield for small informal tournament play most months until the fishing picks up. These events will be put in the Patch's events area, but I thought I'd summarize December's tournaments in one place. I am aware of the following area tournaments:

  • Dec. 1, Scotch doubles 8-ball tournament (blind draw for partner) at Marleas in Dennison, Starts at 2:00 p.m., other details unknown to me
    • Dec. 15, Scotch doubles 8-ball tournament (blind draw for partner) at the Northfield VFW, sign in at 11:30, noon start, $10 entry includes drink token
    • Dec.29, 8-ball tournament at The Break in Northfield, sign in/warm-up at 1:30, start at 2:00, $10 Entry, $5 green fee, 2 practice tables available as part of green fee

In addition, Farmington Billiards is having a ladies only event that benefits their local food shelf. Anyone bringing food for the Farmington Area Food Shelf will get a $5 discount on their entry. Quoting from the flier:
