The board:

voted to not pursue a balanced calendar for the 2013-14 school year. The calendar would have started school on Aug. 13.
made the seventh-grade Eagle Bluff trip a day trip with an optional overnight field trip in August through Community Services.
combined the human resources/technology director position with the business services director position to create the position of director of administrative operations, which will be Matt Hillmann, who served as the human resources/technology director.
